The Lady Knights played in the PCDS soccer tournament Nov. 30 – Dec 1. They brought home the championship by winning 4 straight games. On Friday morning Trivium defeated the Thatcher Eagles 5-0. They played a second game Friday against Camelback and after being tied 1-1 the Trivium team won that game in a penalty kick shootout.
On Saturday morning the Lady Knights scored in the first minute against Scottsdale Prep and held on to win 1-0. Saturday afternoon the Trivium Prep team defeated Chandler Prep 3-0 in the championship game.
During the tournament Sammy Johnson scored 4 goals, Brooke Olson and Macyn Willingham each scored 2, and Makenna Roderick and Jewell Lopez each scored a goal. Tori Gutierrez stopped 38 out of 39 shots, allowing only 1 goal during the tournament.
