Registration / Payment Link:
The first day of training is Wednesday, May 29th as that Monday is Memorial Day.
Summer Training Days and Times: Mon, Wed and Fri at Trivium Prep at 6:00 am to 7:30 am.
On Saturday mornings, high school athletes will meet at local trails for runs in the hills. Locations will be determined once we know who is available to run those days.
Keep track of the miles you run on www.running2win.com. Create a profile and connect to our group Trivium XC Summer 2019. Our team code is T-39033191804-18. This is a great way to stay connected to the team, even if you are on vacation.
Athletes who run and log 200 miles over the summer will earn a T-shirt for their efforts. This is a good number of miles to set as a goal for the summer! Run Miles – Earn a T-Shirt!!
Summer training is essential for XC SUCCESS! If you are unsure if you are coming out for the season, you should still complete summer training so you will be ready when the season starts. Summer training is an excellent way to get a feel for what XC is all about and to start building a solid base of mileage for the seasons training.
If you are traveling a lot during the summer and are planning on coming out for XC, you still need to run a base number of miles and log your miles into www.running2win.com. Please let me know if you want to run, but are traveling and can’t make it to our training runs.
Communication is very important for summer training. Whether you are able to meet with us during the weeks of summer, or are out running on your own while on vacations, please communicate with me your plans so we can have a successful summer of preparation for the season.
Running races in the Arizona Road Racers Summer Series is also a possibility if there is enough interest to do them. http://arizonaroadracers.com/events/races/
